Wiser Workplace is a technology company that builds the connective layer many of these disputes are missing. Our platform routes an employee's concern to the employer, starts a response clock the employer agreed to at subscription, and provides a confidential message channel so the parties can work through it privately. Wiser Workplace is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. At Q3 2026 launch, the parties can engage independent California mediators bilaterally selected from a curated slate, with mediators serving only as third-party neutrals.

Why We Built This
A better path for resolving workplace disputes.
The Problem
Millions of California workers face workplace issues: discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage theft, and more. But most do nothing about it.
Why? Because the traditional paths are broken:
- Hiring an attorney is often expensive. Hourly rates and contingency arrangements vary by firm, jurisdiction, and matter type.

Our Solution
A neutral technology platform that gives employees and employers a private, structured channel they can use before the dispute becomes a filing or a lawsuit. Think of Wiser Workplace as analogous to the Better Business Bureau's complaint process, adapted for workplace concerns: when an employer subscribes, they commit in advance to acknowledge and respond within specified windows, and Wiser Workplace tracks that commitment.
Platform communications are contractually confidential between you, Wiser Workplace, and the employer you identify. Wiser Workplace does not provide legal services. At Q3 2026 launch, mediation is conducted by independent California mediators bilaterally selected by the parties, with the California mediation-confidentiality framework attaching to mediator-engaged communications at that point.
This means:
- Employees get a path forward without court costs. Confidential mediation with credentialed California mediators at launch in Q3 2026. Timelines and outcomes vary by case.
- Employers avoid court. Structured resolution for a fraction of litigation costs.
- Both sides stay protected. Platform communications are contractually confidential under our Terms of Service, restricting later evidentiary use by either side.
- Relationships survive. When disputes don't end in court, people can move forward.
